SANU 2nd Home is a shared vacation home service that promotes a lifestyle of moving between the city and nature, based on the concept of "Live with nature."
Enjoying Your Stay at SANU 2nd Home
1. Preparing for Your Stay
SANU 2nd Home is not a hotel, but "a second home"—a place to enjoy living in nature.
You'll handle check-in and check-out yourself and prepare your own belongings. But in return, you’ll experience a free and harmonious time, fully immersed in nature.

2. How to Check In
Check-in Time: From 3:00pm onward
Scan the QR code located next to your room entrance.
Log in to your account page.
Tap the "Check-in" button.
Enter the 4-digit code displayed on the screen into the smart lock to unlock the door.

3. House Rules
SANU 2nd Home is operated with the care and respect of each guest, treating the space as their own home while following proper etiquette. Please be sure to adhere to the following house rules during your stay.
Note: If the house rules are not followed, resulting in additional cleaning or compensation costs, a 5,500 JPY (tax included) compensation fee may be automatically charged. Please be mindful of this.
Wash and dry the dishes, then return them to their original place.
Campfires and BBQs are allowed until 10pm. After 10pm, please keep noise levels low and enjoy the quiet.
For safety reasons, use the designated fire pit area for campfires and fireworks only. (All cabins are made of wood and are highly flammable.)
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors (including electronic and heated tobacco). Please refer to the room guide for designated smoking areas.
Separate your trash and dispose of it at the designated trash station before check-out.
4. How to Check Out
Check-out Time: Until 11am
Log in to the website and click the "Check-out" button.
Please share your thoughts and any feedback on your stay through a review or comment where you booked! Your feedback helps us continuously improve and enhance our services based on your experience.
The charges for any paid items will be automatically processed to your registered credit card.(A receipt email will be sent around 4pm on the day of check-out. If there are any discrepancies, please reply to the email to report them.)
Before your check out
Wash the dishes and return them to their original place. Be sure to return any used equipment to its proper location.
Separate your trash and dispose of it in the designated trash station on the property.
Always ensure the campfire, wood stove, or pellet stove is fully extinguished before leaving.

The maximum number of guests per cabin is 4. Children under 6 years old are not counted as part of the guest number. The size and number of beds vary depending on the cabin type.

3 to 4 hours from Tokyo: North Karuizawa, Shirakabako, Azumino, Shimoda, Awaji Island, Hakuba, Amami Oshima
Note: For access to mountain areas in winter, snow tires are required.
